LEVEL 1

Detect Charm. (£2) Caster / Touch Ins
The caster is able to detect if there is any charm affecting a creature or character. It reveals no further information. Caster must touch the target.

Flash (£2) 10 Paces Ins
This spell causes a bright flash of light directly in front of the targets eyes. He or she is temporarily blinded and disorientated. The victim must stop what they are doing and act bewildered briefly. The target is still capable of self defense, however.

Illusionary Sensitive (£3) Caster / Touch 1 Encounter
The caster is now able to determine if any one ‘thing’ is an illusion or not. You must touch the ‘thing’ for this knowledge to be gained.

Passive Illusion (£3) 10 Paces 1 Encounter
This spell creates a visual illusion of any object or creature that he or she has seen. The illusion must be man sized or smaller. The illusion is static and affects the visual sense only. If it is struck by anything the illusion disappears. Hands, for example pass through this illusion. (Illusion).

Illusionary Scar / Smooth Skin (£3) Target 1 Encounter
This spell can be used to either create or hide a small scar or blemish. (Illusion)


LEVEL 2

Change Object (£3) Touch 1 Encounter
The appearance of the touched object is changed to a certain degree. The level of change is only very minor and no physical changes actually occur, just visual. (Illusion)

Imitate Sounds (£4) Caster Only 30 Secs
This spell allows the caster to imitate any sound that he or she has heard before. This cannot be a voice or speech. Only basic sounds can be imitated. (Illusion)

Illusionary Facial Hair (£3) Target 1 Encounter
This spell can be used to either create or hide some facial hair. (Illusion)

Pass Unknown (£4) Caster Only 5 mins
This causes the spells caster to create no noise or give off a scent for the duration of the spell. This effectively hides him or her from these two senses. Attacking someone with this spell in effect causes it to end early. This makes the caster detectable under those two senses again.

Sound (£3) 10 Paces Ins
The caster can create a single, brief, sharp, loud sound up to ten paces away. No voices or speech is capable. (Illusion)


LEVEL 3

Dispel Minor Illusion (£6) 10 Paces Ins
The target illusion of this spell, if weak in nature, is dispelled, allowing everyone to ignore any further effects from it. This does not stop any effects already incurred.

Distract (£5) 10 Paces 30 Secs
The target of the spell becomes paranoid about something being in the bushes. He or she will attempt to see it or move away from it. This is not at the expense of self-defense. This spell lasts for thirty seconds, or until struck. This spell does not work if the target is already engaged in combat (Illusion)

Detect Illusion (£4) Caster/ 10 paces Ins
The magic user only is made aware of any and all illusions that are in effect within ten paces. It does not dispel them or let the mage know of what is hidden by the illusion.

Fear (£6) 10 Paces Ins / 30 Secs
The victim of this spell must stay away from the caster at all costs. Initially fleeing in terror. This fear subsides in thirty seconds. (Mind Affecting)

Illusionary Hair Colour (£5) Target 1 Encounter
This changes the appearance of your hair colour. (Illusion)

Money Purse (£5) Object 1 Encounter
The caster can create a small money purse which sounds like it has some money in it. This purse cannot be opened due to the fact that it is an illusion. This illusion can also be felt. (Illusion)


LEVEL 4

Change Voice (£6) Target 1 Encounter
The target of this spell has their voice changed from male to female or vice versa. They may, if they wish to, make them sound like a monster that they have heard in the past. Once the voice has been decided, it may not be changed again until the spell is re-cast. (Illusion)

Delayed Illusion (£5) 10 Paces Varies
As Passive Illusion, but the arrival of the illusion occurs at a specified time up to five minutes in the future. (Illusion)

Detect Invisibility (£6) Caster / 10 Paces 5 mins
The Spell Caster is able to see invisible targets as their outline glows faintly. This does not allow others to see them, only the spell caster. Any attempt to interact with the invisible creatures will result in this spell being broken.

Hide Vocals (£6) Caster Only End Adv
You may change your spell vocals to anything you wish so long as they have at least three words. After choosing the vocals, if you mispronounce the new choice, it is as though you had miss-spoke your original incantation. You therefore fall unconscious as per normal rules.

Trip (£5) 10 Paces Ins
The target of this spell trips over something on the ground, that only he or she can see. The victim then bangs his or her knee, injuring it. The victim may not run for the rest of the encounter. (Illusion)

Throw Sounds (£5) 10 Paces 30 Secs
As Imitate Sounds, but at a range of ten paces. This means the noises originate from that spot.

LEVEL 5

Illusionary Skin Colour (£7) Target 1 Encounter
This spell can be used to change the colour of the skin. (Illusion)

Combine Illusions (£10) 10 Paces 1 Encounter
Two target illusions can be combined. For example, summon Ally and Create Weapon Major, for a more effective Ally. The outcome is up to the referee.

Feast (£8 ) Area 1 Encounter
Suddenly right before your eyes is an amazing feast, all the food you wished to eat is there and more drinks than you could ever consume. (Illusion)

Imitate Voices (£8 ) Touch 1 Encounter
The target of this spell can imitate any voice that he, she or the caster has heard before. (Illusion)

Suspicion (£6) 10 Paces 1 Encounter
The victim of this spell believes that something is not all that it appears. For the rest of the encounter, the target will be very wary of everything around and will make no definite decisions. (Illusion)

Ward of Deceit (£8 ) Touch 1 Encounter
This spell work just like all other ward spells, but crossing this line has different effects each time it is cast. The victim of the ward has a random illusion created to influence their decisions, usually based upon their class. Effects are at Ref's Discretion. (Illusion)

LEVEL 6 MASQUERADE

Confusion (£10) 10 Paces Perm
The target of this spell is confused about any one incident of the casters choosing. This incident must have occurred in the encounter in which this spell is cast. (Mind Affecting)

Duplication (£12) Caster Only 1 Encounter
This spell creates an exact duplicate image of the caster. The duplicate will attack the same target as the real caster, but is not capable of casting spells. It is impossible to tell the two apart. The image has exactly the same statistics as the caster at the point the spell is cast. (Illusion)

Enamour (£15) Touch. 1 Encounter
The Illusionist changes his or her appearance to look like the touched targets most trusted companion, being so happy to see his or her friend that the target does not question why they are there. Though he or see will not do anything to jeopardise his or her life, the victim will not advocate any violence that will hurt his or her recently found friend. He or she will not lose any allegiances or beliefs from before, though, so cannot be forced to attack his or her old associates. When this spell ends, the victim is completely aware of what just happened. (Charm)

Invisibility (£15) Touch 1 Encounter
The target of this spell is granted invisibility over the sense of sight ONLY for a period of five minutes. If the beneficiary undertakes any action that manipulates the environment, such as picking up an object, hitting a monster, etc. then the spell is broken and the target becomes visible if the event was witnessed by anybody else, including allies. Attacking somebody in the back is definitely witnessed…

Masquerade (£12) Caster Only 1 Encounter
The caster can change his or her appearance entirely. This change can include size, clothing and gender, except voice. This does not change any physical properties, only the appearance of them. (Illusion)

Terror (£10) 10 Paces 1 Encounter
The victim of this spell must run away from the caster at all costs, as he or she appears as the targets worst nightmare. Fleeing in terror, this fear has a permanent affect on the victim. The target will leave the area and not return for some time. (Mind Affecting)


LEVEL 7 MASQUERADE

Strengthen Resolve (£15) Area 1 Encounter
You cast an illusion on your opponents, making them look less intimidating to your party. Effect equals mass courage. (Mind Affecting)

Create Voice (£15) Touch 1 Encounter
The target of this spell can create any voice that he or she wishes to create.

Illusionary Armour: Chain / Ring Mail (£15) Target 1 Encounter
The target of this spell is given the appearance of wearing either chain or ring mail. This armour does not absorb any blows. The armour may also be in any style you choose. (Illusion)

Masquerade Other (£18) Touch 1 Encounter
As Masquerade, but can effect someone else by touch. (Illusion)

Roderick's Invisibility Purge (£15) Caster Only 1 Encounter
This spell grants the Illusionist the ability to see through invisibility (not melds) of anyone in the vicinity. The target may then break one person out of invisibility by touching them. (Yes – A staff does count.) The victim may then no longer go invisible for the rest of the encounter. The caster of this spell may also not be rendered invisible for the duration of the encounter.


LEVEL 8 MASQUERADE

Complete Invisibility (£22) Touch 1 Encounter
The touched target of this spell is rendered invisible to all of the senses, and is only detectable through spells, abilities or skills. He or she loses this ability if they attack anybody. Only items on the target go invisible, and anything picked up afterwards can be seen as normal, though the person remains hidden.

Displacement (£25) Caster Only End Adv
Until the end of the adventure, the Masquerader has his or her actual location hidden from view. Instead, an image is placed within a couple of feet. The first attack of any nature in each encounter that would normally strike the target causes the real location to be revealed as the illusion is shattered. The illusion re-asserts itself at the end of the encounter. Effectively, the Illusionist ignores the first strike or spell of each encounter. (Illusion)

Dispel Illusion Major (£30) 10 Paces Ins
This spell will destroy any illusion, except the more powerful sorts.

Illusionary Armour: Plate (£20) Target 1 Encounter
The target of this spell is given the appearance of wearing plate mail. This armour does not absorb any blows. The armour may also be in any style you choose. (Illusion)

Mind Blank. (£22) Caster Only End Adv
The caster is immune to all illusions for the rest of the adventure.


LEVEL 9 MASQUERADE

Befriend All (£25) Area 1 Encounter
Everybody in the area believes you to be the person that they should turn to for answers. You are given a celebrity style status where everything you say is taken to be of importance. People will do everything they can to meet your needs and requirements. (Mind Affecting)

Complete Masquerade (£30) Caster Only End Adv
The caster may choose to change their appearance, voice, clothing and vocals to anything they know. Once cast, this new Masquerade cannot be changed. (Illusion)

Royal Deception (£35) All in Area 1 Encounter
This spell creates the illusion that the spell caster is a member of the Royal family and the rest of the group is his or her followers. Everybody who sees this believes them to be the Royalty in question and will follow commands as they are issued, provided they are law-abiding subjects. Casting, Participating In, and Possession of this spell is considered an act of Treason. (Illusion)

Project Image (£25) 10 Paces 1 Encounter
This spell summons up an illusion of any one creature that will interact with everything by the casters will. It does make noise as it walks on path ways and through bushes. The illusion has statistics as decided by the ref. (Illusion)


LEVEL 10 MASQUERADE

Create Changeling (£55) Caster Only Perm
With this ritual, you permanently alter your body to become a Changeling. This creature is capable of changing his or her appearance at will. This does not change your abilities, etc. This change is permanent and requires a number of components to complete. These changes do alter your appearance and are not considered to be illusions. You effectively become the master of disguises.

Illusionary Self (£45) Caster Only 1 Encounter
This spell creates an exact duplicate of the caster. It appears right in front of the caster. The illusion will do anything that the caster can do, including spell casting and combat abilities. Being an Illusion, it is immune to normal damage, though the caster may choose to have it display damage. If it ever receives magical damage, the image distorts, and this will probably give the illusion away. Whilst the illusion is in effect, the spell caster is hidden as in Complete Invisibility (above). Effectively, the illusion takes the place of the caster. This spell requires concentration. (Illusion)

Prolonged Invisibility (£55) Caster Only End Adv
The caster is given the effects of the spell: Invisibility once per encounter, at no additional spell point cost. If the invisibility is interrupted for any reason, according. to the spells description, then the invisibility is dropped for the rest of that one encounter.

LEVEL 6 CONJURER

Alter Terrain Minor (£10) 10 Paces 1 Encounter
This spell allows the caster to create an illusionary type of terrain Pits, walls, coverings and doors are all at the disposal of the Illusionist. The effects of this spell are at the Referee discretion. (Illusion)

Create Weapon (£10) Target 1 Encounter
The caster conjures any weapon he or she desires. It appears in his or her hand. This weapon acts just like every other weapon of its sort except it is illusory. You must have the relevant skill to use the weapon in combat. (Illusion)

Display Incident (£15) Area 30sec
This spell will recreate any one named incident that has happened within the last few weeks. It will conjure up illusions of the incident and will show you what occurred but will not give you any sound. To use this spell you must be in the exact location where the incident took place.

Illusionary Object (£10) Touch 1 Encounter
This spell creates a single illusory object. The object can only be as big as a small chest. The object is functional for the task at hand and will work as it should normally. (Illusion)

Treasure Chest (£14) Object 1 Encounter
This chest is full of gold and jewels, or so you think. Opening up this chest will reveal a hoard of treasure, but doesn’t allow the treasure to stray too far away from the box or it will just vanish. (Illusion)

LEVEL 7 CONJURER

Create Weapon Major (£15) Caster Only 1 Encounter
As Create Weapon, but the weapon is master crafted and causes an additional point of damage. (Illusion)

Conceal Illusions (£18) Target End Adv
This spell will conceal an illusion placed on some one and anyone casting detect illusion mite be fooled.

Obscurement (£20) All 1 Encounter
This spell creates a combination of darkness, fog and gloom. Everybody can only see two paces away, preventing all ranged combat and spell casting that requires vision. The caster is not affected by this spell.

Summon Ally (£15) 50 Paces 1 Encounter
This spell summons aid to the casters side. He can summon the physical representation of anyone that the caster can call an ally. The ally arrives on the scene and acts as the ally would. The ally can only act on a physical level. No speech or spell vocals, etc. Otherwise, the ally acts as the Illusionist believes he or she would. Effects are at the Referees discretion. (Illusion)

Tormented Mind (£15) 10 Paces End Adv
The target of this spell will still be able fight, cast spells, use skills or abilities as normal, but every time they go to use any of these, they will suddenly panic and fear to use them. They don't know why, but they are tormented by a thought or image in their head that will prevent them from doing their job. (Mind Affecting)


LEVEL 8 CONJURER

Alter Terrain Major (£22) All 1 Encounter
As Alter Terrain Minor, but on a grander scale. Instead of affecting only one piece of terrain, the Illusionist may alter all of the terrain. (Illusion)

Dwellings (£22) Area 1 Encounter
This spell allows the caster to create some illusionary buildings, walls, doors and some minor fortifications. The effects of this spell are at the Referee discretion. (Illusion)

Dismiss Illusions (£25) All 1 Encounter
The caster destroys all illusions in the vicinity and prevents further illusion spells from being cast until the end of the encounter. Does not work on more powerful spells.

Pierce the Veil (£22) Caster Only 1 Encounter
This spell makes the spell caster able to see through all illusions and forms of invisibility, including melds. If the caster attacks any of them, this spell is immediately dispelled. He can see all things hidden in these manners for the duration of the encounter.

Suspension of Disbelief (£30) All 1 Encounter
Everybody in the immediate vicinity of the caster will believe that every illusion spell will affects them. For all intents purposes, the illusions are real. All illusion spells cast by the illusionist are undefyable. (Mind Affecting)

LEVEL 9 CONJURER

Illusionary Forces (£35) 50 Paces 1 Encounter
The caster summons up to six soldiers of caster choice of race to fight on his side. They enter the combat from the side and will fight at the casters discretion. When killed they disappear. The statistics are: (Illusion) 5 per location
doubles.

Memory Block (£25) 10 Paces 1 Encounter
This spell renders your target with a mental block. He or she will forget how to use all spells and skills that they know. They can still move and fight, but only as if they were starting characters. Ie. They cause singles only. (Ref's discretion)(Mind Affecting)

Review Incident (£30) Area Until Dispelled
This spell is an enhanced version of Display Incident. It allows you to see and hear everything in any one named incident. You are able to conjure up illusions to show what occurred and you may move around and watch what happened from other directions. If you choose, you may also do whatever you wish to the images being played out, such as cause it to pause, or go back to an earlier section of the incident to watch it multiple times. This spell must be cast in the same location as where the incident occurred, though time is not a factor.

Enchanted Ground (£25) Area Perm
This spell affects an area with mass fear, only those with true courage may enter or pass through. Anyone who try's to enter this area will be feared. When you enter this area you get the distinct feeling that you should not be here and bad things will happen to you if you enter this area. (Mind Affecting)

LEVEL 10 CONJURER

Mass Illusion (£55) All 1 Encounter
The caster is capable of creating anything they wish. Buildings, people, monsters, small towns, traps and rivers are all at the casters disposal. Detect Illusion and Illusory Sensitive has no effect. (Illusion)

Deja Vu (£40) All in Area 1 Encounter
This spell resets one situation that has just gone wrong, by causing everybody to think that the encounter is just beginning. Everybody believes that they have just had a deja vu situation and they may act differently this time around. This spell only works once per adventure. (Mind Affecting)

Permanence (£55) 1 Illusion Perm
This spell causes one illusion already in existence to become permanent. It is still considered an illusion, but there is no time limit to it.
